Annabeth is 14 months old today! She is just starting to take her first steps. She's not my latest walker (Eli gets that honor), but she'll be second. She is a speedy crawler now, but got a late start with that as well. She has been cruising around furniture for awhile and took a single step here and there, but today she actually made it several feet.
She can get to the standing position by herself and will even do it on command when you say "stand up!". We tried to show her how to move her feet while she was standing but she thought we were dancing and would just dance along.
Even though she's not walking she still gets into things. Here's a tip for you: Always keep your bathrooms doors shut when she's around!
Annabeth is a good helper in the kitchen. She unloads the dishwasher (mostly onto the floor). And if you want your can of soda to be shaken before you open it, she's your gal! She also enjoys helping wipe up after lunch.
