Isn't This Fun? (Part 2)

So after a fun afternoon of swimming and riding on the boats we went back up to the house to eat dinner. Josh drove Grandma Linda and the kids up on this cute little vehicle. I'm pretty sure JD thought it was an amusement park with all the different rides. He called this a "tractor" and would have ridden from the lake to the house on this for hours if it would have been an option!

We ate and visited and just enjoyed the great company of old friends! The grandparents remembered the good old days and the parents remember the not-quite-as-old-but-still-good days while the kids made new memories.

The kids got along well and played nicely with each other. The bigger kids keeping an eye on the younger allowed me to take it easy.

We got the gang together for a couple pictures. (We should have done it earlier, it was starting to get dark).

We had a cake for dessert. Not knowing what to have the bakery write on the cake, since it wasn't anyone's birthday, Judy had them put this...

And now you know where I got the title for these posts! There was no question about it... we DID have fun! Next time we'll have to get a cake that says "This IS Fun!". (And next time we'll have to drag my sister and her family with us no matter what excuse they come up with... they really missed out!)

And there will be a next time! Right Boersma-McCormacks?!?! Hopefully it won't be over 10 years before we do it again!
